		October 15, 2006, through January 7, 2007 Organized by the Cleveland Museum of Art and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, in association with the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya, in Barcelona, this is the first exhibition in North America to examine a remarkable 71-year period (1868-1939) when Barcelona transformed itself from a city of provincial culture into one of the most dynamic centers of modernist art and architecture in Europe. The exhibition will be on view March 5, 2007, through June 3, 2007, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
