Philip Brutz

Philip Brutz has been working in the visual arts for more than 25 years in a variety of media including blacksmithing and jewelry making, and is currently mount maker for the Cleveland Museum of Art. His photographs are featured in the museum’s brochures and outreach materials. A crew member with Parade the Circle Celebration since 1995, he developed an interest in stilt making for dance troupes such as Pilobolus, and worked for two years as the technical director of SAFMOD, a multi-media performance ensemble. A lifelong resident of Greater Cleveland, Brutz lives with his family in Cleveland Heights.
