Laurence Channing

Laurence Channing has held regular solo exhibitions in Cleveland since 1990. His work been included in group exhibitions at the Akron Museum of Art, the Addison Gallery of America Art in Andover, Massachusetts, the Riffe Gallery in Columbus, Museum of Contemporary Art, Cleveland, and Reeves Contemporary in New York City. He has received three Ohio Arts Council Individual Artist Fellowships and the Cleveland Arts Prize. With works in public and private collections, he has received commissions from the University Print Club and the Cleveland Print Club. Channing earned an MFA from Yale University, and since 1985 has been Head of Publications at the Cleveland Museum of Art.
