Elaine Battles

Elaine Battles has shown in juried and invitational exhibitions in the region as well as the Cheongju International Craft Biennale in Korea. Her work is included in the collections of the Canton Museum of Art and the Wayne Center for the Arts in Wooster. She has been artist-in-residence at the College of Wooster and the Wayne Center for the Arts, and received an Ohio Arts Council Professional Development grant. Battles studied at Heidelberg College in Tiffin, Ohio, and earned a BFA in ceramics at the Cleveland Institute of Art, where she won the Alfred E. Egge Award for academic excellence. Her ceramics studio is in Wooster.
