Each bottle is decorated with a greyhound chasing a hare. Below are inscriptions that identified the contents: "A. CAPILLV" (Aqua Capillorum Veneris), an extract of fern, and "A[qua] SCABIOS," referring to a compound of water and herbs of the teasel family.
